This PWS 8-5 is a great distiller. Just the right size for a regular home. I have owned this exact model for many years and had purchased it used from a medical supply resale company. It had been hard used looked like it had been out in the wild. It finally stopped working and I loved it so much just decided to buy a new one and then get the old one repaired. The new one is so nice comes well packaged and ready to distill. It was easy to set up and off it goes.

This thing is built like tank. I expect many years of service. Top-notch phone support to get a couple of questions answered about hooking it up to the drain in my basement. I love the way it does not boil dry, meaning that the boil tank doesn’t get crusty and hard to clean. Especially if you have a whole house water filter upstream, or a good set of filters just for feeding the distiller. I don’t think think that’s over-kill, and it really cuts down on the frequency of cleaning the boiler tank. Extemely well-built, and runs like a Swiss timepiece. Compared to the price of the several cheap table-top 1 gallon distillers you’d end up buying over the years, it’s a bargain. Plus, it’s a heck of a lot more convenient and easier to clean and maintain.
