Not trusting our water supply, I bought our family a PWS 8-8 water distiller in 2001. Our distiller has since provided thousands of gallons of high quality water for drinking and cooking with minimal maintenance. I was online ordering a backup heating element and gasket (seem to last 11-12 years) when I noticed there are no ratings for this fantastic distiller. I want you to know, PWS water distillers are tough! Unfortunately, not many items are made to last now days. Without doubt, I'll be using this unit for another 20+ years. Who knows, maybe my children will inherit it. Have a blessed day!
