INJURED? Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are the most important information you can provide a medical doctor. It will save valuable time by informing medical personnel what chemicals are involved and the proper way to treat the symptoms. SDS also explain to the user: properties of each chemical; the physical, health, and environmental health hazards; protective measures; and safety precautions for handling, storing, and transporting the chemical.
